In many ways a rebirth of my ITP thesis project, the Binaural Game allows the player to move through a space and find virtual sounds through spatial hearing. The sources of these sounds lie in the simulation and are invisible to the eye. The visitor is forced to navigate through hearing alone, and discovers facets of this sensory capacity that he/she may not have been aware of.

The installation is part of the MED-EL Audioversum, an educational, playful exhibition about hearing and sound.
